This book is a giant step on the path toward regaining your sense of calm and control.
As soon as the author started talking about God and the soul (first few pages), I was out. Extremely disappointed as I was a fan of this author. If you are like me and like your science/psychology separate from religion, this is clearly not the book for you. I just cannot take anything the author says seriously when it’s discussed through the lens of a “Godâ€. I literally threw this book in the garbage after reading about fifteen pages. Not worth the shelf space.

The book is written very well but, it doesn’t get to the heart of the matter. Anger is an emotion which occurs when an important boundary is violated. The author describes anger only as losing one’s temper and malintent, not the underlying emotional state. This becomes an obstacle in addressing the premise of the book. Anger can be a painful emotion, and it is not synonymous with low self esteem. There were some useful parts of the book about boundaries but, overall it doesn’t solve the problem.
What a fascinating book.I was told by a colleague in the mental health field about this book that this is worth reading.Since I'm constantly looking to expand my knowledge in this field, i gave a shot and bought the book. I must admit, i was amazed and very impressed by the way Dr. Lieberman explains the process of anger with such clarity, and the steps to be taken in order to achieve the long awaited control over anger. a foolproof method indeed.This book deserves more than 5 stars, and the methods i learned will be implemented and shared with my clients in our coaching sessions. i actually referred this book to one of my clients and received great feedback.Thank you Dr. Lieberman for the great work.
