I loved how this series puts a spin on the fairytales we all love. Cin D’rella loses her dad unexpectedly and ends up with her horrible step mother and 2 step sisters. That is until her godfather Maximus comes for her and takes her to the Briar Academy where her life completely changes. Her best friends are some other fairytale characters you’ll recognize too. I literally devoured this book in one sitting, it was that good. That ending though, GAH! Complete cliff hanger! If you’re looking for an edge of your seat book with excitement and suspense throughout, check this new series out, you won’t regret it!
S.J. West never disappoints, and this new series is no exception! I couldn’t stop reading it the moment I started, but I was also sad when I finished it.I love the new take on the classic fairytale, Cinderella, and I think this new take is nothing less than amazing!It has so much adventure and excitement, as well and romance. I love the storyline and characters that S.J. West created for this series.Definitely a must read and I can’t wait to read more!
Such an amazing and fun twist to the Cinderella story (and others)! SJ West fairy tale twist captures you from the very beginning. While the ending leaves you begging for more. I really enjoyed the development of the characters and the way that the author entwines so many fairytale characters that you really start to wonder, who really evil, who is the betrayer and who exactly is . . ., wait, I don't want to spoil it for you!I gave this 5 stars because I was so enchanted (see what I did there) by the story and I immediately want to read the next book!

I found this book to be a fascinating twist to Cinderella. This book will keep you reading to see what happens. It will also keep you guessing on what is coming up next. I will tell you I was surprised. The character's are well developed and the story will drawl you in. Trust me when I say you will want to read this story
oh my, this booked grabbed me from the very beginning. Took an old fairy tale and put an awesome spin on it. I read mine in one day. Just be prepared, she is the queen of cliff hangers. You will be begging for the next book.
I can’t put it down. It is so witty. I love how you incorporated traditional characters like Cin, Gretral, Scarlet Hood and Prince into a magical world. I can’t sleep because I have to know what happens next. I love the mystery around the circle, the Thorns, the Guild. Already got book #2. Folks if you have not started the series, it is a must read.
Delightful twist on the fairy tale princesses that makes not all so princess like after all and its fresh and different and so wonderful. Had the hardest time putting it down, finished it in no time. Wonderful story, wonderful characters. I would expect nothing less from such a wonderful author, brilliant imagination, and a beautiful person, S.J. West. I will be counting the days till the next book in the series comes out.
